They even plunked him with a kiss for the cameras.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Friday, he filed for divorce from former Playmate of the Year, Kimberly Conrad Hefner. \u003cbr/\u003eThe couple married in 1989, and were legally separated in 1998. \u003cbr/\u003eSince then, Hefner has lived with three girlfriends at the Playboy Mansion.\u003cbr/\u003eThat relationship was documented on the the E! Reality show \"The Girls Next Door.\" \u003cbr/\u003eAt the premiere, Hefner described himself.\u003cbr/\u003e\"A dead in the heart romantic who played some part in the changing social sexual values of his time.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBut the film shows a different side of him. \u003cbr/\u003eDirected by Academy Award winner Brigitte Berman, she chooses to depict the making of the man and his stance as activist and humanitarian. \u003cbr/\u003eHefner says the two became friends after he saw her film, \"Artie Shaw: Time is All You Got.\"\u003cbr/\u003e\"We became friends.
