I burned myself out because of watching so much of it when we were getting ready to film this. I'm decompressing from it, in all honesty. But also I get a lot of my news off the internet. One thing I will say about social media is being able to follow 'The Huffington Post' and 'The New York Times' and be right there, at the touch of a button, be able to pick what you pay attention to in the news.\"\u003cbr/\u003eActress Alison Pill, who plays the newsroom's newbie associate producer, noted \"I get my information from mostly print sources. Like, I read 'Harper's,' 'Atlantic,' 'New Yorker,' 'The Economist' once a month, because it take me a month to get through one of those weeklies. This is too much. And then a daily paper online, occasionally. And then there are sites. Those aggregators can be really great for information I'm interested in.\"\u003cbr/\u003e\"I listen to (Pasadena, California radio station) KPCC, (host) Larry Mantle, and then NPR (National Public Radio) before that,\" replied Adina Porter, a new \"Newsroom\" regular who also appears on the network's \"True Blood.\" \"And they definitely give both sides. I think their tagline is, 'Chant with no rant' or something like that. I'm annoyed with some of the sides that I don't agree with, but I'm hearing. So, they're forcing me to think.\"\u003cbr/\u003eAnother HBO regular, actor Thomas Matthews of the network's sitcom \"Veep,\" dropped in to catch \"Newsroom\"'s premiere and weighed in with his news choices. \"You know, honestly, like I used to watch a lot of (liberal anchorman) Keith Olbermann,\" he explained. \"I'll be totally honest. I love watching Keith Olbermann. But I would get so upset while watching him, that I had to stop. He actually gets me upset. So, I kind of stopped watching it. I've been trying to read a lot more. I guess I'm kind of a newspaper guy. I like ink on my fingers. So, I've trying to read the newspapers every day. So, I haven't been watching. I've got to be honest with you. I haven't been watching. I get too upset.\"\u003cbr/\u003e\"Newsroom\" costar Timothy Simons: \"I'm going to say (\"The Daily Show with ...) Jon Stewart.\" I wish I could say, 'CNN' every night.
