I wouldn't say starting life for real, but something like that\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe 17-country eurozone has bowed to the inevitable and fallen back into recession for the first time in three years.\u003cbr/\u003eNow it's feared the sprawling debt crisis will take its toll on the region's stronger economies. \u003cbr/\u003eFor one young French student, graduation day is just the beginning of the long struggle to build a future.\u003cbr/\u003eMoira Koffi's life has been turned upside down. With her upcoming graduation, she's had to move out of her cozy and cheap student housing, in Paris' hip 19th arrondissement, to a tiny studio where her boyfriend lives. This new phase has proven very difficult for her.\u003cbr/\u003e\"So I just finished my studies. So now I'm a graduate and I found a job, so my time at the student house is over. So now I've had to move to my boyfriend's because I'm not a student anymore, I couldn't benefit from this housing. So this is why I moved here. It's been a week, and I hope it'll be over soon because I need my stuff tidy!\" \u003cbr/\u003eFor the recent graduate, searching for an affordable apartment in Paris has proven to be a daunting task.\u003cbr/\u003e\"It's crazy because you need to provide the agency so much paper. It's like 'Oh, we want to know who you are. What you do in life. How much you make. How much your parents make. (sigh) It's like if you don't earn enough money, you can't have a flat. If your parents don't have enough money, well, enough.. it depends who you're talking with. It's really difficult,\" she says.\u003cbr/\u003eKoffi recently completed her studies towards a degree in Communications at the Sorbonne in Paris.\u003cbr/\u003eAlthough she has landed a short-term contract at the public relations agency where she was previously an apprentice, there are no guarantees as to how long she will be employed there. \u003cbr/\u003eFor Europe as a whole, September figures from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development show 22.5 percent of youths aged 15-24 are unemployed, up 9.2 percent from a year earlier.\u003cbr/\u003eFor now, Koffi's focusing on the important events of the day: her upcoming graduation ceremony. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Graduation today is the end of five tough years,\" she says.\u003cbr/\u003eA recent study in Britain showed that large numbers of young graduates are failing to find graduate-level jobs. The Futuretrack survey by Warwick University's Institute for Employment Research showed that the number of graduates still without graduate-level jobs two years after leaving university had nearly doubled to 40 percent last year compared to 10 years ago.\u003cbr/\u003eDespite the uncertainties, Koffi has had time to come to terms with the ecoomic crisis. Its start coincided with her move to Paris in 2008. Leaving her widowed mother teaching in a small town in Normandy, Koffi made her way in the capital as countless young students have before her, counting her euros and enjoying \"la vie boheme.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe school helped her find a short-term apprenticeship at a public relations agency, where she's worked in the digital department handling clients' social media campaigns. \u003cbr/\u003eShe knows there are no guarantees ahead, even with a Master's diploma in hand.\u003cbr/\u003eKoffi's graduation is bittersweet: her student life is over, and now she is left with facing the challenges of adult life. \u003cbr/\u003eNonetheless, she is optimistic about her future. \"So today was the last chapter of my student lifeďż˝ it's the beginning of something else. And I'm quite happy with it. I hope this new chapter will be just as awesome as my student life was. I wouldn't say starting life for real, but something like that,\" she says.\u003cbr/\u003eAP's Class of 2012 is:\u003cbr/\u003eAthina in Athens. She's mastered English in four years studying at a private university and is now job hunting.\u003cbr/\u003eLucy in London has graduated from fashion school - and is about to begin full time work. \u003cbr/\u003eMoira in Paris is the communications grad heading into the real world.\u003cbr/\u003eLutz in Berlin graduated near the top of his class with a degree in electrical engineering in Europe's top economy. He is now in full time employment. \u003cbr/\u003eRafa in Madrid has a degree in architecture, just as Spain's building bust has littered the country with abandoned buildings.\u003cbr/\u003eThe
