Close pull of wedding table laid out for wedding breakfast\u003cbr/\u003eAs the 50 day mark for the Royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton approaches (March 10, 2011), thousands of miles away at a wedding show in Los Angeles everybody is talking about the big day.\u003cbr/\u003eIn the land of red carpet royalty, American brides-to-be say they're looking forward to a right Royal day and the real life \"fairytale\" princess at its centre.\u003cbr/\u003eEver since Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement to the world last November, everybody is looking forward to the wedding of the year.\u003cbr/\u003eOn April 29 (2011) the pair will marry at Westminster Abbey in London.\u003cbr/\u003eWe've seen the engagement ring, but many of the finer details of the big day - including Kate's dress - still remain secret.\u003cbr/\u003eNot that that stops the speculation.\u003cbr/\u003eThousands of miles away at the POP Bridal show in Glendale, California wedding planners and brides-to-be have one eye on their own event and the other on the Royal wedding.\u003cbr/\u003eCelebrity wedding planner David Tutera, host of My Fair Wedding TV show on the WE Network, is in attendance and signing copies of his latest book for fans.\u003cbr/\u003eHe says: \"I think that every girl right now is fixated to see what they are doing. We are all brides fixated on whatever everyone is doing that is seen in the press so it's what she wears, what she plans for her wedding, her flowers, colour scheme, cake and her music but can you imagine that it might be another 30 years until we have all eyes watching these beautiful women get married.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe Royal wedding is the most important date in the Royal calendar since Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer's wedding 30 years ago.\u003cbr/\u003eAnd the Royal wedding is influencing all areas of bridal planning.\u003cbr/\u003eNicole Hirsty, event producer at POP Bridal Events says: \"I think for brides they want to be a princess on the day of their wedding so of course in the year of the Royal Wedding, I think they are looking to what they are doing and looking at their design, their colours and the fairytale they are trying to bring into their wedding.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBut most brides won't have a royal budget to blow on their own event.\u003cbr/\u003eAccording to research company The Wedding Report Inc,  wedding budgets are smaller than they were before the recession hit but are slowly increasing again.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Wedding Report Inc says in the first quarter of 2010, the average wedding cost 21.9 per cent more than in 2008, so things are improving since the depths of the recession but families are still cost-conscious.\u003cbr/\u003eAnd at the POP wedding show there are plenty of exhibitors trying to convince brides-to-be to part with their hard earned cash.\u003cbr/\u003eThe event attracts photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, florists and decorators.\u003cbr/\u003eSonia Sharma is a 33-year-old a businesswoman from Venice Beach, California.  She's here with friends for some last minute \"royal\" inspiration ahead of her big day on March 20.\u003cbr/\u003eShe says: \"Kate Middleton is a great example of an elegant young lady. I love the way she dresses and I think her colours and her palette will influence future brides towards the end of the year. Absolutely.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSome US commentators have suggested Kate's lack of blue-blood as a commoner has appealed to the American people.\u003cbr/\u003eBut Tutera believes it is her \"fairytale\" wedding that captures the imagination and not her social background.\u003cbr/\u003eHe says: \"I don't think it has anything to do with her being a commoner. I've been planning it for a long time.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSo, the guests are invited, the table settings are decided and the finishing touches are being applied to thousands of weddings across America.\u003cbr/\u003eAnd it seems, wherever you are and whatever your budget, the Royal Wedding on April 29 is going to set the style for the year
