Mia!'\u003cbr/\u003eThe movie is the big screen adaptation of the successful stage musical of the same name.\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking to AP Entertainment, Benny Andersson, formerly of swedish pop group Abba and executive producer of ''Mamma Mia'' said he'd ''never been involved in making a movie before.''\u003cbr/\u003e\"I've written some music for films before, but haven't been hands on like in this project, recording it all and sort of being responsible for the sound of it.'' he added.\u003cbr/\u003eBjorn Ulvaeus, also formerly of Abba, and also an executive producer of the film added said that the movie came together when Tom Hanks got in touch with his production company and the movie was made.\u003cbr/\u003eOscar winning actress Meryl Streep takes on the role of single mother Donna Sheridan with Brosnan, Firth and Stellan Skarsg�rd playing three potential fathers to her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried.) \u003cbr/\u003eAfter reading her mother's journal, Sophie realises that there are three men who could potentially be her father. \u003cbr/\u003eSam Carmichael (Pierce Brosnan,) an American architect; Harry Bright (Colin Firth), a British banker; and Bill Anderson (Stellan Skarsg�rd), a Swedish novelist.\u003cbr/\u003eSophie then invites the three men to the Greek island they visited over two decades ago, in the hope that she will find out which one is her real father.\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking at the red carpet premiere, Streep said she thought it was a ''really great opportunity, to have a lot of fun and to be allowed to be free, physically, musically, emotionally,'' adding that ''it's a great show.''\u003cbr/\u003eSophie is a young woman who is about to marry her fiancee Sky (Dominic Cooper) but is desperate to learn the identity of her biological father before she gets married.\u003cbr/\u003eCooper said he saw the show very late on, but was excited about the way it moved the crowd.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I saw the show and I saw how euphoric it made people feel and how excited it made them feel and I thought if the film we're about to embark upon could do any of those things then it would be a really good thing.\" he told AP Entertainment.\u003cbr/\u003eAlso at Monday's premiere was Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, who was also an executive producer on the film.\u003cbr/\u003eWilson said ''Abba's music is incredible, it's joyous, it's fun, it's wonderful for women, it's wonderful for what, men so everyone's sort of covered in this story.''\u003cbr/\u003eHanks added that it took him a short while to get used the to music though -but not too long!\u003cbr/\u003e''Seconds for her, took me about 15 minutes,\" he said.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I had to get into that third Abba song, then I realised ''how do I know the words
