These things, in my opinion, if you did not find anything, causes a great injustice and could somehow revenge me in the future. Let's say if I gave a reason to a 13 year old Palestinian boy to commit suicide in five years, because I humiliated his father, tortured his mother and ruined his home\".\u003cbr/\u003e18. Mendelson looking at more pictures\u003cbr/\u003eThis year's graduating class at Jerusalem's prestigious Bezalel Academy of Art raised a few eyebrows and even surprised themselves with their choice of subjects for a final exhibition - terror, dismemberment and a soldier's guilt. \u003cbr/\u003eOne of the students - Efrat Lichtenstadt mixed different types of art to create a room which is recognisable as a multimedia, 3-dimensional presentation of the kind of headlines, pictures and graphics which Israeli newspapers use to report suicide attacks. \u003cbr/\u003eEye-catching glass jars of toy soldiers and naked babies feature prominently among her carefully selected artifacts\u003cbr/\u003eEfrat said that even innocent children's toys, such as a hospital set of characters, take on a more sinister meaning when you are live in a city where suicide bombings are commonplace.\u003cbr/\u003eRan Mendelson, who had to juggle time in class with tours of duty as an army reservist, photographed his family and neighbours posing as the Palestinian civilians he fears he might have brutalised.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Bezalel academy end-of-year exhibition is a key event in Jerusalem's cultural calendar. \u003cbr/\u003eThe art academy students are not usually known for their political activism, and generally showcase themes which avoid controversy. \u003cbr/\u003eBut this year students said there was no escaping the daily routine of terror attacks, lives cut short and studies disrupted by tours of military duty.\u003cbr/\u003eMaya Wine's photography places her in a wedding gown and clutching a bouquet at scenes of Jerusalem bomb blasts where scores of people died and hundreds more were wounded. \u003cbr/\u003eShe said she wanted to show that everyday life, like the \"hope and fantasy of being a bride,\" carries on despite the conflict.\u003cbr/\u003eRan Mendelson comes from a kibbutz community in the centre of the country and studied photography and design at Bezalel. \u003cbr/\u003eAfter a spell  of duty as a reserve soldier he felt the need to act out and record the kind of scenes he witnessed first hand searching Palestinian family homes for terrorists and weapons. \u003cbr/\u003eHe persuaded friends and family members to let themselves be blindfolded, handcuffed and have their apartments ransacked while he photographed the results. \u003cbr/\u003eMendelson says he's worried that while he was doing all this for real he was giving a young generation of Arabs motives to grow up into the next wave of suicide bombers. \u003cbr/\u003eIn one of his photos, you can see the real thing, a crowd of young Palestinian kids pose for Mendelson's camera while he and the other Israeli soldiers search their
