But one company is showing off a new prototype where your brain gets revenge, by controlling the TV! \u003cbr/\u003eHaier's Brain Wave TV may someday allow viewers to change channels or the volume simply by concentrating on an area of the screen.\u003cbr/\u003eBrainwave patterns are essentially interpreted into a digital signal that TVs can recognise.\u003cbr/\u003eWith the success of Beats by Dr. Dre, musicians and celebrities launching new headphone lines appears to be a new trend in the electronics industry.\u003cbr/\u003eWhen iPods hit the scene 10 years ago, the small, white earbuds that came with the devices became the symbol for listening to music on the go. \u003cbr/\u003eToday, that's changing. \u003cbr/\u003eMore and more people are expressing themselves with pricey headphones, with some fashion-forward music lovers sporting designer versions of large studio headsets.\u003cbr/\u003eCelebrities have taken note of the new trend and are busy launching their own sets. \u003cbr/\u003eIn 2008, Monster launched Beats by Dr. Dre, and it is the most recognisable of celebrity-branded headphones. Monster later released headphones with Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Diddy, Daft Punk, Nick Cannon and LeBron James. \u003cbr/\u003eIn 2011, 50 Cent, Quincy Jones and Ludacris released their own line of headphones.\u003cbr/\u003eNow at CES in Las Vegas, 50 Cent, Ludacris and even Nicole \"Snooki\" Polizzi from MTV's \"Jersey Shore\" all promoted headphones with their names on them.\u003cbr/\u003eSnooki's headphones certainly aren't for shy and retiring types - these pink and leopard print headsets are covered in sparkling diamante.\u003cbr/\u003eBut there's a reason for all the \"bling\", the Jersey Shore star says she's on a mission to make technology sexy and emancipate from the grasp of the geeks.\u003cbr/\u003eNicole \"Snooki\" Polizzi says: \"I think technology is a very sexy thing so if they're into it, good for you.
