If I slow it down you have this sound 'boom' which is literally just humming but with a 'b' at the beginning (boom boom boom).  And you have this sound the high hat (sound). That's just like when you are tutting at someone and you are annoyed with them and then you click your teeth (sound).  The good thing about that is that you could hum and tut at the same time they are kind a independent from each other so you could go like (sound) and you could go (sound) which means you got like freedom in your mouth and you could still make a note so you could be like (sound-beatboxing). has made it's debut to a sell-out crowd in London.\u003cbr/\u003eDirected by Grammy nominated, British beatbox artist Shlomo, the concert was the finale of the day-long International Beatbox Convention which took place at London's Southbank Centre.\u003cbr/\u003eThe convention attracted beatboxers from all over the world.\u003cbr/\u003eInternational beatbox artists from the USA, Australia and Eastern Europe performed at the International Beatbox Convention in London recently.\u003cbr/\u003eShlomo is a world famous beatboxer, whose track 'Oceania'  was performed at the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympics in 2004 reaching an estimated audience of 4.5 billion people worldwide and earning Shlomo a Grammy nomination. \u003cbr/\u003eHe first became noticed after his work with the Icelandic singer Bjork in 2004.  \u003cbr/\u003eHe performed with his Vocal Orchestra and various beatboxers at the convention.\u003cbr/\u003eThe crowd loved the show.\u003cbr/\u003eShlomo says many people see beatboxing as a gimmick but he wants to show people that it is a credible art form. \u003cbr/\u003eThe art of human beatboxing is one of the fastest growing trends in youth culture since the birth of Hip Hop in the mid 1970's.\u003cbr/\u003eShlomo demonstrates some beatboxing techniques and says it is more basic that it might seem. \u003cbr/\u003eBeatboxing relies entirely on sounds made with the mouth, lips, tongue and vocal chords. \u003cbr/\u003eShlomo's Vocal Orchestra performs a wide-range of material, including original works composed especially for the group, alongside a collection of popular pieces and crowd favourites. \u003cbr/\u003eHe says that his group is made up of the Swingle singers and three of the most creative beatboxers he has ever met. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Swingle singers are an a-capella group that pays homage to the original Swingle group of singers formed in Paris, France in 1962.\u003cbr/\u003eSince its origins on the streets of New York in the 1980s, beatboxing has morphed into an incredible performance art, with beatbox artists now being able to recreate entire tracks with their mouths and vocal chords
