But this witness did testify that he received several phone calls from the boy's mother. He said that he received phone calls from the boy's mother where she indicated that she was being followed, that she wasn't able to see her children at Neverland, and she sets up the prosecution's case for false imprisonment and possible conspiracy.\"\u003cbr/\u003e10. Various of Jackson walking out of courthouse towards his vehicle\u003cbr/\u003eThe focus of pop star Michael Jackson's child molestation trial moved from the past to the present on Tuesday, as the stepfather of Jackson's accuser took the stand.\u003cbr/\u003eThe stepfather testified that after the broadcast of a damaging TV documentary about Jackson, an associate of the pop star offered the family a college education and a house.\u003cbr/\u003eBut the stepfather said that when he sought money for the family, he was accused of blackmail.\u003cbr/\u003eIn the February 6, 2003, documentary, \"Living With Michael Jackson,\" Jackson and the boy appeared on camera, and Jackson said he let children sleep in his bed but characterised it as innocent.\u003cbr/\u003ePart of the stepfather's testimony dealt with the period leading up to February 19 and 20, 2003, when the boy, his brother, sister and mother made a rebuttal video in which they praised Jackson.\u003cbr/\u003eThe stepfather testified that he began asking Jackson associate Frank Tyson what monetary compensation there was for the family if they participated in the rebuttal video. He said Tyson replied that they were offering protection.\u003cbr/\u003eThe stepfather said when he asked from whom the family needed protection, he was never given an answer. He testified that as the conversation continued, Tyson said that he was going to offer a college education and a house.\u003cbr/\u003eThe stepfather said he told Tyson the family didn't need a house or college, and asked what he was offering them monetarily. At that point, the witness said, Tyson accused him of blackmail.\u003cbr/\u003eTyson has been named by prosecutors as an un-indicted co-conspirator in Jackson's case.\u003cbr/\u003eWhile the stepfather had no knowledge of inappropriate behaviour between Jackson and the accuser, legal analysts say his testimony sets up the appearance by the accuser's mother.\u003cbr/\u003eAt the time the documentary aired, Jackson had flown to Florida with the boy, the youth's siblings and mother, then returned with the family to Neverland. \u003cbr/\u003eThe stepfather testified that during the family's return visit to Neverland, the mother called him and was very upset.\u003cbr/\u003eProsecutors allege that the molestation occurred near the end of the family's purported captivity.\u003cbr/\u003eThe stepfather said that when the boy returned from Neverland for the last time his behaviour was markedly changed.\u003cbr/\u003eThe prosecution said on Monday it would call
