That''s like taking 58 million cars off the road for an entire year.\" \u003cbr/\u003eThe 35 point 5 gallons per mile is a combined fleet number: so if an automaker makes a truck with low gas mileage, say in the 20 mile per hour range, they can make up for it with a very fuel efficient vehicle, say a hybrid in the 40 mile per hour range. \u003cbr/\u003eThe American Automobile Association applauded the move. \u003cbr/\u003e(Robert Sinclair, American Automobile Association) \u003cbr/\u003e\"It''s the will, we have the means,  it''s just having the will to make these things happen on a large basis.
