When he realised that he did contact the NPA, who then sent him to the police. So the NPA also alerted us to the fact that there are these diamonds, we then sent a team of 3 people who went and interviewed Mr Radcliffe, who gave us his side of the story, who gave us the diamonds out of his volition. Hague, have been handed over to them.\u003cbr/\u003eCampbell testified before a war crimes tribunal on Thursday, confirming that she had received some \"dirty-looking stones\" after a 1997 dinner party with former Liberian ruler Charles Taylor.\u003cbr/\u003eStill, the supermodel said she didn't know if the stones were actually diamonds or if the gift came from Taylor himself.\u003cbr/\u003eCampbell, an extremely reluctant witness at the Special Court for Sierra Leone, was being questioned in Taylor's war crimes trial about claims made by actress Mia Farrow.\u003cbr/\u003eFarrow had said Taylor gave the model an uncut diamond or diamonds after an event hosted by the then-South African President Nelson Mandela at his presidential mansion in Pretoria.\u003cbr/\u003eCampbell said she gave the stones to a friend, Jeremy Ratcliffe, who was the director of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, intending he use them for charity. \u003cbr/\u003eShe said she had called Ratcliffe a year ago to ask what he had done with the stones, and he told her he still had them.\u003cbr/\u003eHowever, police have confirmed that Ratcliffe, realising the stones were part of a court case, handed the diamonds over to them. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Whether they are the ones that Naomi Campbell has talked about, that is going to be part obviously of the investigation,\" said police spokesman Musa Zondi.\u003cbr/\u003eA spokesman for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund had previously said they knew nothing about the diamonds which were given to
