Guinea, his lawyers said on Tuesday. \u003cbr/\u003eThe son of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher had been subpoenaed to appear in the Wynberg magistrates court on Wednesday after the government granted a request from Equatorial Guinea to question him about allegations he financed part of the coup attempt. \u003cbr/\u003e\"The whole question of whether he should be required to answer any questions at all is what is being challenged,\" said Thatcher's attorney, Alan Bruce-Brand.\u003cbr/\u003eThe lawyer met Judge President John Hlope in chambers at the Cape High Court and argued that it was unconstitutional to subpoena Thatcher to answer questions from Equatorial Guinea while he has related South African charges pending.\u003cbr/\u003eEarlier this month Thatchers lawyers moved to overturn the subpoena. \u003cbr/\u003eA hearing on the request has been scheduled for October 26 and 27.\u003cbr/\u003e\"This means there will be no appearance in court tomorrow,\"
