manner that that restores historical tradition.\u003cbr/\u003eThe bells will be on display inside the cathedral from Saturday until February 25. \u003cbr/\u003eThen they will be hoisted to its iconic twin towers, where they will replace older bells that had become discordant.\u003cbr/\u003ePaul Bergamo, President of the Cornille-Havard Foundry said there were still a few weeks to go until the bells could be rung for Palm Sunday on March 24th.\u003cbr/\u003eThe bells are named after saints and weigh 23 tons altogether. \u003cbr/\u003eMost were cast in a foundry in the Normandy town of Villedieu-Les-Poeles, where they were blessed in a benediction ceremony by a local priest, then sent on a convoy of trucks to Paris.\u003cbr/\u003eThe new bells are part of celebrations marking 850 years since the beginning of the cathedral's construction in 1163. \u003cbr/\u003eIt took nearly 90 years to build.\u003cbr/\u003e\"This is a wonderful return to history and at the same time an
