Car departs\u003cbr/\u003eThe mother of Michael Jackson's accuser lashed out at the pop star from the witness stand on Monday, declaring that Jackson didn't car about children.\u003cbr/\u003eThe woman resisted answering questions on Monday by defence attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. and began her fourth day on the witness stand by making speeches to the jury.\u003cbr/\u003eShe looked at Jackson across the courtroom and said: ''He managed to fool the world. Now, because of this criminal case, people know who he really is.''\u003cbr/\u003eJackson is accused of molesting one of the woman's sons -  a teenage cancer patient - in February or March 2003, giving the boy alcohol and conspiring to hold the boy's family captive to get them to rebut a TV documentary about the singer.\u003cbr/\u003eJackson denies all the charges and his lawyer is challenging the mother's credibility.\u003cbr/\u003eThe woman admitted that she once told sheriff's deputies she feared Jackson had a plan for her and her family to disappear from his Neverland ranch in a hot air balloon.\u003cbr/\u003eHowever, she accused Mesereau of taking the comment out of context.\u003cbr/\u003eThe mother also denied repeatedly that Jackson or anyone associated with him had tried to help her and her family when her son was stricken with cancer.\u003cbr/\u003eDuring another combative day on the stand, the woman denied repeatedly that Jackson or anyone associated with him had tried to help her and her family when her son was stricken with cancer.\u003cbr/\u003eMesereau also elicited testimony that the woman received cheques for $20,000 and deposited them in her mother's bank account. But she said she could not remember how any of the money had been used for her son. She also said she opened a bank account in which people could deposit money for her son's benefit.\u003cbr/\u003eMesereau also pressed her on whether she made any attempts to get help during the family's alleged period of captivity.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Did you complain to anyone in the building that crimes were being committed against you and your family?\" Mesereau asked.\u003cbr/\u003e\"No, but I am now,\" she said.\u003cbr/\u003eMesereau also noted that the woman was able to telephone comedian Louise Palanker during the alleged captivity.\u003cbr/\u003e\"If you could call (Palanker), why couldn't you call police?\" Mesereau said.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I couldn't. I was hoping she could,\" the woman responded.\u003cbr/\u003eMesereau then asked, \"You didn't call 911?\"\u003cbr/\u003e\"I have now,\" the woman said.\u003cbr/\u003eThe singer's accuser alleges that Jackson molested him in early 2003 when he was 13 and recovering from cancer.\u003cbr/\u003eJackson denies all the charges and his lawyer is challenging the mother's credibility.\u003cbr/\u003eShe is seen by some as being as important as her son to the prosecution's case. Without her, the conspiracy count against Jackson would probably fail. \u003cbr/\u003eProsecutors claim the pop star conspired to isolate and control the boy's family - a count that lists 28 alleged overt acts, 20 of which are based on the mother's story.\u003cbr/\u003eThe defence is trying to portray her as a con artist who lied for financial gain.
