(Oct. 6)\u003cbr/\u003e [Notes:ANCHOR VOICE]  \u003cbr/\u003eMel Gibson's conviction stemming from his notorious 2006 drunken driving arrest is being expunged.\u003cbr/\u003eA judge made the ruling Tuesday at the request of Gibson's lawyer.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe court said the 53-year-old had successfully completed the terms of his three-year probation.\u003cbr/\u003eGibson was arrested for drunk driving in Malibu in July 2006.  \u003cbr/\u003eDuring the arrest, the actor-director made derogatory comments about Jews and women, tried to escape and repeatedly threatened the arresting deputy.\u003cbr/\u003eAs part of his plea, Gibson was sentenced to three years probation, had to attend Alcoholics Anonymous  meetings and appear in public service announcements.\u003cbr/\u003eHe has
