Wide view of Rumsfeld leaving room\u003cbr/\u003eIn the wake of the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal, United States Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld on Tuesday described the allegations against military personnel as a \"body-blow\".\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking at a town-hall style meeting of Pentagon employees, Rumsfeld acknowledged that the actions of some uniformed service men and women will affect the reputation of the US as being a force for good in the world.\u003cbr/\u003eHowever Rumsfeld said it was the military - not the media - that discovered alleged Iraqi prisoner abuse. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd, further he said the military will ensure justice.\u003cbr/\u003eRumsfeld said once the allegations surfaced, military officials acted responsibly and told the world.\u003cbr/\u003eHe said the military opened an investigation with no guidance or encouragement from anyone in Washington.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Secretary also warned that enemies of the US would exploit the incidents.\u003cbr/\u003eWhen asked by a civilian contractor about the use of private digital cameras in the field, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Peter Pace said the cameras were a fact of life now.  \u003cbr/\u003eBut he added that anyone not wanting to be caught acting stupidly should not \"do something stupid\".\u003cbr/\u003eRumsfeld also told the audience
