The band leaving\u003cbr/\u003eHordes of screaming fans desperate for glimpse or autograph of their ageing heroes turned out in Japan on the Asian leg of their tour, proving the Rolling Stones still draw a crowd unlike any other band.\u003cbr/\u003eThe supergroup arrived in Tokyo to kick off the Asian leg of their world tour, \"Big Bang\", launched last August in Boston. Sixteen years after the Rolling Stones first toured Japan, the British rockers are set to play this week for the one-millionth fan to hear them in the cavernous Tokyo Dome, home to baseball's Yomiuri Giants. The band will perform at the 50,000-capacity venue on Wednesday, which has hosted more Rolling Stones concerts and drawn more fans than any other venue where they have ever performed.\u003cbr/\u003eThe band is scheduled to play 5 performances in 4 cities in Japan -Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, and Sapporo next week.\u003cbr/\u003eSince last August, the world tour has drawn more than 4 million people to the shows and by this summer the Rolling Stones 'Big Bang' tour will have visited 89 cities. \u003cbr/\u003eFollowing Japan, the band is expected to play their first concert in China in April, according to Chinese promoters, three years after cancelling a pair of shows on the mainland because of the SARS outbreak. The Stones were slated to play Shanghai and Beijing in 2003, but the shows were cancelled amid the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome.\u003cbr/\u003eThe band will play Shanghai's Grand
