By the time it reached London in 1993 Mamet's controversial play was causing raging debate on both sides of the Atlantic.\u003cbr/\u003eThe British production, starring David Suchet and Lia Williams, was directed by one of Mamet's theatre idols, Harold Pinter. Many performances were reported to have caused furious arguments between audience members as the play drew to its dramatic climax.\u003cbr/\u003eFor months afterwards, newspaper articles on sexual harassment were illustrated with a photograph of the Suchet/Williams confrontation.\u003cbr/\u003e23-year-old Julia Stiles already has a reputation as one of America's best actresses. She made her stage debut at 16 and has not forgotten theatre as a Hollywood screen career has taken off.\u003cbr/\u003eAudiences started to Stiles after her performance in Michael Steinberg's 'Wicked' (1998), which won her the Best Actress Award at the Prague Film Festival.\u003cbr/\u003eShe subsequently starred in '10 Things I Hate About You' (1999), David Mamet's film 'State And Main' (2000), 'Save The Last Dance' (2001) and 'The Bourne Identity' (2002).\u003cbr/\u003eOn stage she has appeared in 'Everyday Newt Burman,' 'Matthew: School Of Life,' 'The Sandalwood Box' and most recently in 'Twelfth Night.' While starring on stage and screen she has also managed to graduate from Columbia University with a degree in English.\u003cbr/\u003eAaron Eckhart made his major film debut in 1997's 'In The Company Of Men, written and directed by his college classmate Neil LaBute.
