of life for LA's dogs. \u003cbr/\u003eToday, doggie spa makeovers and massage have become the norm for any pet lover pampering their spoilt pooches in Hollywood.\u003cbr/\u003ePet owners spend hundreds of dollars on their dogs, some times spending $200-$300 for shampoo treatments, conditioners, aromatherapy oil massages and nail polish (spelt PAWlish), manicures and pedicures. \u003cbr/\u003eAn American Kennel Club (AKC) study about dog ownership habits, conducted by Kelton Research in August 2005, surveyed a national probability sample of 1,000 adults (500 dog-owners and 500 non-dog owners) in the U.S.\u003cbr/\u003eThe study found that dog owners were more likely to describe themselves as \"happy\" as opposed to non-dog owners (43 per cent vs 38 per cent). \u003cbr/\u003eYet those without a dog claimed they were more organised than dog owners(19 per cent vs 14 per cent of dog owners). \u003cbr/\u003eAt Chow Bella Pet Spa in Studio City, California, the owner John Adzian provides treatments and massage services.\u003cbr/\u003eAdzian says dog owners go all out to treat their pampered pooches. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd he says his spa provides dogs with manicures, pedicures, massages, and washes.\u003cbr/\u003eSinger Kitten Kay Sera spares no expense for her Maltese \"Miss Kitty\".\u003cbr/\u003eKitten Kay Sera says  because she has no husband or children she can afford to pamper her dog \"Miss Kitty\". \u003cbr/\u003eMiss kitty regularly gets her coat dyed pink, her teeth cleaned and her nails done.\u003cbr/\u003eAccording to the AKC survey of dog owners, women are six percent more likely than men to dress their pups up for holidays while men are 12 percent more likely than women to wonder why anyone would ever consider dressing their dog in the first place!\u003cbr/\u003eThe survey also showed dog owners were more likely to call themselves laid back than those without pups. \u003cbr/\u003eDog mobile spa treatments are also a popular trend in Los Angeles. \u003cbr/\u003ePink Dog Mobile Grooming is a spa equipped truck that pulls right up to your doorstep. \u003cbr/\u003eFour-time Emmy Award winning, and two time Oscar
