But now we can build real worlds we can populate them with real people and its like watching interactive cinema, therefore for you are going to get an emotional attachment to the characters you see for example Lara Croft,  you want to know what makes her tick what does she do in her off time. And people want to know about the characters that they may see, because you do not have to  suspend disbelief any more these are real people even though they are virtual people. or Grand Theft Auto as examples of fine art?\u003cbr/\u003eSophisticated technology and design has led to claims video gaming is the next art form - and a special awards ceremony will now take place in October in London.\u003cbr/\u003eThe gaming industry has become the fastest growing entertainment medium in the UK.\u003cbr/\u003eAnd now some in the industry are calling for video games to be representatives from computer companies, trade associations, developers and large influential publishers\u003cbr/\u003eThe BAFTA Video games awards recognises the artistry and creativity of video game industry professionals.\u003cbr/\u003eThe BAFTA Video game awards will put video gaming on same level as film and television, as well as recognises  it as \"one of the principal contemporary art forms\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe video games nominated for the awards are judged on artistic innovation, technical ground breaking techniques, and \"creativity to enhance the user's experience\". \u003cbr/\u003eIan Livingston is creative director at  Eidos Games UK, which was responsible for the popular 'Tomb Raider' games, and is a member of BAFTA voting committee. \u003cbr/\u003eHe says awards for gaming design are long overdue.  \u003cbr/\u003eLivingstone predicts that in the near future, gamers will be able to immerse themselves even more completely by uploading their own portraits
