Year.\u003cbr/\u003eUsing wooden sticks, workers removed the pieces of paper from their crevices. \u003cbr/\u003eThe operation is carried out twice a year; before the Passover festival and at the Jewish New Year, in the autumn.\u003cbr/\u003eShmuel Rabinowitz, the Rabbi of the Western Wall called it a \"special haven for prayers\" and said \"Jews and non-Jews\" had left prayer notes
