Attorney General.\u003cbr/\u003eReno and Burton repeatedly sparred throughout the hearing.\u003cbr/\u003eIt was called, in part, because Reno rejected F-B-I Director Louis Freeh's advice to seek  a special prosecutor.\u003cbr/\u003eReno dismissed their difference of opinion, saying disagreement \"is healthy\" and that  the final decision was hers alone.\u003cbr/\u003eDespite comments from one representative that Freeh was ready to vote to cite Reno  for contempt of Congress, the Attorney General refused to turn over a memo from Freeh  outlining his position.\u003cbr/\u003eShe said both she and the F-B-I director fear the release of the memo could jeopardise  their investigation and prevent the exchange of ideas.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE (English):\u003cbr/\u003e\"People ought to be able to talk freely, without thinking they're going to be hauled before  congressional committees and everybody is subjected to this scrutiny. I knew what I  was getting into.
