earthquake data from the tsunami warning centre to calculate the size of any tsunami wave and estimate the time it will take to hit the Australian coast.\u003cbr/\u003eNone of the warnings would go public, and no evacuations were planned in Australia, however UNESCO said some countries would stage mock partial evacuations of coastal communities.\u003cbr/\u003eAustralia was not directly affected by the 2004 disaster, but is playing a role in the regional system that has been built since in the years since then to improve response times and international coordination. \u003cbr/\u003eAustralia has a network of wave height sensors along its coastline, and two deep sea sensors in waters between Australia's northwest and Indonesia. \u003cbr/\u003eUnder the system, Australia, Indonesia and India swap data on a tsunami threats, and Wednesday's drill will test how efficiently messages are sent between those countries, organisers said.\u003cbr/\u003e\"All depends how quickly the
