going under the hammer.\u003cbr/\u003eBidders will choose from seven modern paintings as part of Christie's annual spring sale of Impressionist and Modern paintings.\u003cbr/\u003eChristie's officials expect premium bids, and estimate one Gauguin masterpiece could fetch up to 10 (m) million U-S dollars.\u003cbr/\u003eChristies' spring sale includes a host of stunning examples of Impressionist artwork from private collections set for sale next week. \u003cbr/\u003eStar attractions include works by Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Edgar Degas. \u003cbr/\u003eThis work from  Spain's modern master Joan Miro is part of the estate of Hollywood film producer Joseph Hazen.\u003cbr/\u003eEstimates for the Degas pastel masterwork \"Femme au tub\" range from 6 (m)million to 8 (m)million U-S optimism, the initial reaction is very favourable in terms of the quality of the work, not everybody who's going to spend over 5 (m) million dollars steps forward with their interest ever perhaps until they actually raise their hand and bid but we expect to have a lot of people and many people from overseas and other parts of the United States visit these rooms in the next few Gauguin painted in Tahiti in 1901, as a homage to his former friend Vincent Van Gogh. \u003cbr/\u003eThe work is part of the estate of Joanne Toor Cummings -- a New York resident and heir to the Sara
