For instance we know now that criminals can sit in one country and disrupt a computer system in another thousands of miles away. If we are to keep up with cyber-crime, we must work together as never before.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Janet Reno, U-S Attorney-General\u003cbr/\u003eBy the day's end, participants were hailing their meeting as a success.\u003cbr/\u003eThey reached agreement on seven steps - from allocating more law enforcement  personnel to coordinating laws that fight cyber crimes.\u003cbr/\u003eThe eight nations also vowed to work jointly and cooperatively with industry to devise new ways to detect and prevent computer crimes.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"What we've agreed is that we have to have a closer dialogue with Internet service providers and others involved in this field and an earlier dialogue so that the service providers are aware of the needs of the law enforcers and we are aware, as it were, of their imperatives.
