in the Pentagon Friday with Department of Defence employees and armed forces personnel. \u003cbr/\u003eFlanked by Marine General Peter Pace, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Rumsfeld opened the meeting with a brief statement about progress made in Iraq in the two years of fighting.\u003cbr/\u003eAsked about Poland, whose mission in Iraq finishes at the end of the year, and talk of Italy withdrawing troops, Rumsfeld pointed out that each country had to make such decisions according to its own set of circumstances.\u003cbr/\u003eHe noted that Spain had done so abruptly. \"Not
