country.\u003cbr/\u003eBush said he wanted to dispatch a contingent of Americans \"limited in size and limited in tenure,\" but gave no hint of whether they would be military advisers, humanitarian experts or soldiers. \u003cbr/\u003eHe also gave no indication he was close to a decision, and aides said they didn't expect one this week.\u003cbr/\u003eHe said he was awaiting reports from two teams he sent to assess the situation in Liberia, one reviewing the humanitarian needs there, the other the military situation.\u003cbr/\u003eFor his part, Annan said he was \"pleased\" with his discussions with President Bush on Liberia.\u003cbr/\u003eHe said he expected the Economic Community of West African States to send up to 2,500 troops, adding that \"hopefully\" after that, US forces would
