(Nov. 19)\u003cbr/\u003e [Notes:ANCHOR VOICE]  \u003cbr/\u003e [Notes:assembly line video]\u003cbr/\u003eYou can't get much more blue collar than Georgetown, Kentucky.\u003cbr/\u003eIt is a manufacturing town with some seven thousand people working in this 200-acre facility building Toyota vehicles.\u003cbr/\u003eBut unlike their colleagues at G-M, Ford and Chrysler those here say they're not too fearful about their jobs, the future of their plant or the state of their company.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT Sheri Gruchow manager Fava's restaurant\u003cbr/\u003eYou haven't seen Toyota on the news at all. You know saying about job cuts or anything like GM or Ford.\u003cbr/\u003eToyota continues to sell more vehicles than G-M and many here are reaping those benefits.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT jack conner chamber of commerce\u003cbr/\u003eIt's the driving force for the region, for the state of kentucky. So it has been an extremely important catalyst \u003cbr/\u003eSo now we have restaurants we didn't have before. We have grown in terms of our housing market. It has given us the luxury of adding on to that quality of life\u003cbr/\u003eWorkers at this restaurant say they rely on Toyota for half of their business and don't want to imagine life without it.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT Gruchow\u003cbr/\u003eIt would be like dried up downtown if Toyota wasn't here.\u003cbr/\u003eThose here, though, are quick to point out that their good fortune isn't because they are better or harder workers, rather they say success starts at the top.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT Benjamin Bynum, Georgetown\u003cbr/\u003eI think toyota has made some better decisions.\u003cbr/\u003eI feel at the moment that Toyota is here and doing well even with their prius sales with GM needing a bailout.\u003cbr/\u003eBut even here they say they know the good times won't last forever, especially if the economy continues to sour.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT Conner\u003cbr/\u003eIt's not a matter of Toyota or G-M, it's a matter of what we have, we're blessed with it, but we're still impacted by all of the other issues too.\u003cbr/\u003eFor now, though, things here though just keep looking up and 2009 may even be the best yet as Toyota is looking to expand the number of cars produced
