Wide party\u003cbr/\u003eWith the 5th Annual Latin Grammy Awards less than 24 hours away, music group  BMI (Broadcast Music Incorporated), threw a pre Grammy party to celebrate their 51 nominated artists.\u003cbr/\u003eBMI is an American performing rights organisation which collects licensing fees for its clients. Their members include Ricky Martin, Carlos Santana, The Neptunes and Kanye West.\u003cbr/\u003eLatin Grammy Award winning songwriter KiKe Santander walked the red carpet at the event, offering his advice to first time nominees:\u003cbr/\u003e\"Enjoy the ride. Enjoy it. The real purpose of being nominated is an  emotional positive shock of, 'You can make it. You're going to make it. Keep doing it because you're doing it right.' That is a message that we want to send to all the new generation of musicians.\"\u003cbr/\u003eWhile the band Kinky aren't first time nominees, they were still listening closely to Santander's advise.\u003cbr/\u003eThe group has been nominated twice in the past, but are hoping to take a Grammy home this year with their third nomination.\u003cbr/\u003eWhile Kinky have yet to win a Grammy, the group, Banda Recodo, have already won two Latin Grammys and one American Grammy.\u003cbr/\u003eBand member Poncho Lizarraga says although Banda Recodo has been around for  66 years, he has no plans for retirement. His father started the band in 1938. Lizarraga says he knows his dad would be proud of the Banda Recodo's success.\u003cbr/\u003eThe 5th Annual Latin Grammys will air in North America on 1st September and will be hosted by comedian
