The World Health Organization (WHO) is still considering two suspicious cases of SARS that were registered last month. \u003cbr/\u003eBrazil is the most visited country in the South-American Continent, with foreigners arriving every day in busy airports like the international airports of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. \u003cbr/\u003eConsidered the post-card of Brazil, the city of Rio de Janeiro is the most visited place by tourists in the country. \u003cbr/\u003eA total of 68 thousand people pass trough the Rio de Janeiro International Airport, every day. From this total, 14 thousand 400 hundred people are passengers. \u003cbr/\u003eFor the moment, the only noticeable prevention measure at the airport is that passengers arriving rom Asia have to answer a questionnaire about their health.\u003cbr/\u003eBut SARS is on top of the medical community's agenda. On Thursday, health authorities, doctors, students and local officials discussed the disease in the first seminar about SARS in Brazil.\u003cbr/\u003eThe meeting was held at the FioCruz Lab - famous for producing the free AIDS medication in the country.\u003cbr/\u003eThe coordinator of SARS Vigilance in Rio de Janeiro State, Jose Cerbino, said the city has three hospitals that are now ready to receive and treat SARS victims. \u003cbr/\u003eAnother health official warned that a SARS case can enter the country in many ways and the the whole South-American continent can be at risk. \u003cbr/\u003eDoctor Neri Baran, the Epidemiology coordinator for Rio de Janeiro Health Secretary, stressed the importance of early prevention measures the moment a case is confirmed. \u003cbr/\u003eAccording to the health authorities, the SARS victim will only show the symptoms of the disease after 7 days. \u003cbr/\u003eJose Cerbino also warned that the cost of a SARS treatment may be huge for a large part of the population. \u003cbr/\u003eIn Brazil, one surgical mask costs 1 US dollar, and one one SARS suspect in Rio used 110 surgical masks in 3 days, before being released by the hospital. \u003cbr/\u003eThe W.H.O. is still considering two suspicious cases of SARS that were reported last month. A British journalist and a 4-year-old boy from China were monitored in a hospital but doctors eventually released them and are in good health.\u003cbr/\u003eThe British journalist is now back in
