They donned helmets and rollerblades, listened to bands on the sidewalks and blasted their own tunes from portable speakers. Wilshire's iconic museums and Art Deco buildings became the background for one long street party, a park on wheels.\u003cbr/\u003eCities across the world close their streets for bicyclists. But Angeleno cyclists seem to relish their \"open streets\" events in a special way, maybe because LA is such a freeway-bound, car-centric city.\u003cbr/\u003eRecreating on a bike on the weekend is easy though.
