Jackson and entourage walk to SUV\u003cbr/\u003eThe first week of the Michael Jackson trial came to an end on Friday with the family at the centre of the child molestation case praising the singer as a father figure.\u003cbr/\u003e\"God worked through Michael to help us,\" the mother of the accuser said in a video played for the jury on Friday.\u003cbr/\u003e\"When we saw no hope, Michael said there was hope. We were broken and Michael fixed us,\" she said.\u003cbr/\u003eThe video was played during testimony by the accuser''s 18-year-old sister, who underwent questioning by District Attorney Tom Sneddon and cross-examination by Jackson''s lawyer Thomas Mesereau Jr.\u003cbr/\u003eShe admitted she had accused her own father of molesting her, imprisoning her and making terrorist threats.\u003cbr/\u003eCross-examination intended to show the family has a history of making allegations. The witness acknowledged the accusations against her father, who is divorced from her mother.\u003cbr/\u003eMesereau asked the young woman if she had once told police she was being abused by her father five times a week, and she answered, \"We were abused every day.\"\u003cbr/\u003eShe said she learned she had been sexually abused when her mother blurted out the accusation in a conversation with her father.\u003cbr/\u003eJackson is charged with molesting the girl''s then 13-year-old brother at his ranch in central California and plying the boy with alcohol. \u003cbr/\u003eAt the end of the day, when Jackson was leaving, reporters asked him how the week had gone.\u003cbr/\u003eJackson replied, \"It was very good, very good.\"\u003cbr/\u003eWhen asked about Michael Jackson''s mood, Jackson family spokesperson, Raymone K. Bain said \"right now his mood is good.\"\u003cbr/\u003eAfter months of keeping mum during his pretrial trial court appearances, Jackson is slowly opening up to news crews who follow his every entrance and exit from court.\u003cbr/\u003ePart of the reason may be that they have stopped yelling at him. \u003cbr/\u003eAt the suggestion of Peter Shaplen, who coordinates pool coverage of the trial, reporters worked out an informal agreement earlier in the week about a new strategy for trying to draw a few words out of Jackson each day.\u003cbr/\u003eShaplen''s plan called for abandoning the hit-or-miss journalistic tradition of screaming a dozen questions at once.\u003cbr/\u003eFriday was the first time he responded in a complete sentence, and he has given at least a few words every
