Various of Long Form Library  \u003cbr/\u003eNew technology for the home is one of the big draws at the Grand Designs Live exhibition in London.\u003cbr/\u003eThe latest gadgets and space-saving devices are drawing in the crowds at this annual event for innovative designs for home and garden.\u003cbr/\u003eOnce upon a time the humble bathroom mirror did only one thing.\u003cbr/\u003eNow, as well as reflecting your face for that early morning brush and shine, the Cybertecture Mirror is a multimedia information platform.\u003cbr/\u003eIt will do everything from telling the time and weather forecast to keeping you up to date with social networks and live news coverage.\u003cbr/\u003eIn health mode it will show your weight and give health and fitness tips and exercise routines.  But all that comes at a price of course - the Cybertecture mirror costs �4,700 (USD $7,000).\u003cbr/\u003eCrowds of people flock to the Grand Designs Live show each year, looking out for the next new angle on designs for modern living.\u003cbr/\u003eTechnology powers one of the smartest kitchens on display.\u003cbr/\u003ePetra is a space-saving, remote controlled kitchen from TM Italia, specialist Italian manufacturers of high quality bespoke kitchens.    \u003cbr/\u003eWith the flick of a switch, worktops can be extended or rotated and otherwise unsightly sinks and stoves hidden away or revealed.\u003cbr/\u003eThere's also a media centre for watching TV and using the Internet while dinner is on the way.\u003cbr/\u003eSurfaces in the Petra kitchen are made from travertine stone and oxidised iron, blending traditional craftsmanship and cutting edge technology.  \u003cbr/\u003eTechnology blogger Anthony Goodey is a fan:\u003cbr/\u003e\"It unfolds, it's the worlds first transformer kitchen. The retractable chandelier, from First Class Lighting Ltd, costs �3,000 (USD 5,000).  \u003cbr/\u003eOne of the more freeform products at the exhibition is the Long Form Library, by designer Thomas Mills.   \u003cbr/\u003eCombining armchair, bookcase and lighting in a circular cradle, the Long Form Library which costs around �7,000 (USD 11,500) makes light work of reading and
