For example, the sanctions would be remembered by our people in history,'' he said.\u003cbr/\u003eU.S. and European diplomats met for talks on Tuesday in Berlin where they discussed the new UN draft.  Officials said that the draft bolstered existing sanctions, notably freezing assets and travel bans on Iranian officials. But they disagreed on whether it contained new measures.\u003cbr/\u003eThe draft was described as a sign of international resolve that Iran should not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, and of unity on the need to press the country into suspending uranium enrichment.\u003cbr/\u003eDespite a U.S. intelligence assessment last month which said Tehran had stopped active work on a nuclear weapons programme in 2003, the US government still contends that the programme has a military agenda.\u003cbr/\u003eIran insists it never had a nuclear weapons programme and that its work is for
