Jordanian officials estimate that  150,000 Syrians are seeking refuge in their country.\u003cbr/\u003eAccording to the UN refugee agency UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), around 400 Syrians were admitted to the camp in Mafraq city on Monday, which is about 11 kilometres (7 miles) from the northern border with Syria.\u003cbr/\u003eLiving conditions at the Zataari camp, which is located in the desert, are harsh, with searing temperatures and a shortage of drinking water and electricity.\u003cbr/\u003e1.
