It's like they can see exactly where their food comes from.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBut the First Lady steered clear of a controversy sweeping America, following calls by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg for legislation to restrict the sale of high-calorie drinks.\u003cbr/\u003e\"There is no one size fits all solution to this,\" she said. \u003cbr/\u003e\"But, we applaud anyone who is stepping up to think about what changes work in their communities. There are many communities that are doing things like figuring out how to build more sidewalks, so that people can actually move and ride their bikes.\"\u003cbr/\u003eMrs. Obama enthused over a fig tree rescued from the White House compost heap.\u003cbr/\u003e\"This is the first season that we are actually getting figs. So, this is kind of cool. Barack loves figs,\" she said.\u003cbr/\u003eSeated at a picnic table dressed up with a yellow checkered tablecloth, the First Lady spoke of the progress that has been made in offering people healthier food choices and better nutrition information.\u003cbr/\u003eIt is all part of her all-out effort to combat childhood obesity without provoking a backlash by pushing too hard. \u003cbr/\u003eThe First Lady's high favourability ratings show she is largely been able to strike the right tone in this election year, despite critics who say they do not need a government lecture, or more intrusive steps, on what they eat or how they exercise.\u003cbr/\u003eAsked if she ever has to bite her tongue at Obama critics, the First Lady batted away the idea, saying she stays away from \"all the chatter and the noise.\"\u003cbr/\u003eparty rights applicable to their Territory.\u003cbr/\u003e1. It's not a difficult thing for me to do because we've got so much good stuff to talk about, like this book, and the garden, and getting our kids healthy and active.
