\u003cbr/\u003eThe Senate vote puts Obama closer to the goal of passing comprehensive health care reform than any of his predecessors. \u003cbr/\u003eFollowing the vote, Obama hailed the Senate bill as a victory for the American people. \u003cbr/\u003eBarack Obama\u003cbr/\u003e\"xxxxxxxxxxx\"\u003cbr/\u003eNow despite the jubilation here at the White House, this process hasn''t exactly gone as planned, and it''s far from over. \u003cbr/\u003eThe president had hoped he would be signing a final version of the bill by the end of the year AND he hoped that bill would have bipartisan
