Wide Shot guests on the stage as confetti falls\u003cbr/\u003eTony Leung Chiu Wai has dismissed rumours that his new film will be the comeback vehicle for legendary actress Brigitte Lin.\u003cbr/\u003eThe star was speaking at a press conference in Hong Kong Tuesday (10FEB09), where he appeared in his role as official ambassador for the 5th Hong Kong Entertainment Expo.\u003cbr/\u003eOne of the largest-scale film and television events in Asia, the Expo is set to run from 23 March to 19 April.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe event will include the Asia Film Awards, the Hong Kong International Film Festival and the Hong Kong Film Awards.\u003cbr/\u003eLeung is currently training hard for director Wong Kar-wai's new film 'The Great Master'. The tale is based on the life of Ip Man, Bruce Lee's celebrated Kung Fu master and the first man to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I am working hard to prepare for my new film,\" said Leung, \"I have to practice martial arts, workout, go jogging and physical training. And I have started to read Kung-fu master Ip Man's profile, to design the character. That film focuses on Ip's early life, and was a hit in China and Hong Kong. \u003cbr/\u003eThere have been reports that one of Leung's co-stars in the new project would be Brigitte Lin Ching-Hsia. \u003cbr/\u003eBrigitte Lin is the most sought actress in Chinese film industry, and has starred more than 100 movies. She retired from the big screen after marrying businessman Michael Ying in 1994, but her appearance at last year's Golden Horse Awards sparked rumours that she may be considering a comeback.\u003cbr/\u003eSo when Brigitte was spotted out with Tony Leung and director Wong Kar Wai, speculation was rife that she would return with a role in 'The Grand Master.'\u003cbr/\u003eLeung was quick to dispel the rumours.\u003cbr/\u003e\"It's hearsay.
