We are now able to suggest preserved fish sperm.  That the  fertilisation rates in comparison to fresh sperm are between 70 and 90 percent  which  means it's almost the same. Fish with  large, red markings can sell for tens of thousands of dollars and the freezing of the  sperm allows farmers to not only preserve the genetic characteristics of the fish but  also\u003cbr/\u003eto create different strains of this rare species.\u003cbr/\u003eFarmers hope to begin the next stage of the project soon - freezing the sperm of fish  which can be eaten such as trout and salmon.\u003cbr/\u003e1.
