England's decision to stay in Johannesburg, South Africa, while the issue of the banned journalists was resolved meant a delayed arrival in the Zimbabwe capital.\u003cbr/\u003eRichard Bevan, chief executive of the players' association said at a media conference in Johannesburg on Thursday that the decision to tour in no way meant that the England team condoned any of the actions of the Zimbabwean government.\u003cbr/\u003eJohn Carr, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Director of Operations, said politicisation had occurred with the the accreditation issue, but that issue had been resolved.\u003cbr/\u003eThe ECB said the players, who cancelled their flights to Zimbabwe on Wednesday, were now due to board a plane in Johannesburg on Friday to fly to Harare.\u003cbr/\u003eThe International Cricket Council welcomed the Zimbabwe government's decision to accredit the 13 journalists.\u003cbr/\u003eAt the Zimbabwe Cricket Union in Harare, David Morgan, the England and Wales Cricket Board chairman, said negotiations to get the journalists accredited had continued \"minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, over the last day-and-a-half\".\u003cbr/\u003eMorgan earlier told the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that the tour would have been called off unless a \"significant number\" of the banned journalists were allowed into Zimbabwe to cover the matches. \u003cbr/\u003eEngland team spokesman Andrew Walpole said the team remained committed to playing the full five one-day internationals, but couldn't immediately say when the postponed match would take place.\u003cbr/\u003eThe one-day series will now start on Sunday. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Zimbabwean government's Information Department blamed the submission of incomplete forms by some of the journalists
