Thank you very much\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Staffan de Mistura - former U-N humanitarian coordinator for Iraq\u003cbr/\u003eFirst port of call was the  U-N headquarters where they met with weapons inspectors already stationed in Iraq.\u003cbr/\u003eThis new technical group will be able to visit and map the presidential palaces which so far have been off-limits to other inspectors.\u003cbr/\u003eThe idea, proposed by France,  is to make sure all sides agree on the dimensions and locations of the sites. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd the U-N team wasted no time in getting down to business.\u003cbr/\u003eFirst stop was the Ministry of Oil for a meeting with top officials including the Deputy Foreign Minister Riyadh al-Qaysi and the Oil Minister, Lieutenant General Amer Mohammed Rashid. \u003cbr/\u003eThe U-N wants access to the controversial palaces as they search for and destroy Iraq's long range missiles and weapons of mass destruction.\u003cbr/\u003eIraq has denied entry on the grounds of sovereignty.\u003cbr/\u003eBut one man who has had no problems touring the sites is Russian ultranationalist leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky.\u003cbr/\u003eHe says he saw nothing out of the ordinary.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"Usual palace for president of each country.
