References in mens' wear.  And then this  sort of ethnic layering, but the nice thing about ethnic at the moment is it's very soft and  light because we've got very fluid, transparent fabrics.  So it's not a heavy thing.  So  there's sort of references to other countries, but nobody in specific.  I love the way that  the collection is now developing.  You know, we don't start from scratch each time.  We  take inspirations that we've had and move them on and you know, explore where we've  used them before.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION:  Betty Jackson, Designer\u003cbr/\u003eJackson is based in London and one of Britain's most established international  designers.\u003cbr/\u003eThe collection from Ben de Lisi continued along the same theme of elegance but with a  casual side to the clothing.\u003cbr/\u003eThe range of colours was kept to a minimum.\u003cbr/\u003eGold and purple were the main themes, along with classic black, with simple evening  dresses paraded alongside smart jackets with contrasting coloured skirts.\u003cbr/\u003eSome of the more see-through outfits may be unpractical for everyday wear but the  collection certainly contained nothing of real shock value.\u003cbr/\u003eFashion gurus appear to be pleased so far with the direction that the British fashion  designers are taking this year. \u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e'So far I think it has been a very, very pretty season. I think the overall feeling is that it's  light, it's very pretty, it's still quite decorative which is a hangover from last winter. And  very feminine.
