other innovative ways to help poor nations.\u003cbr/\u003eGates, invited to present a report to the G-20 summit in Cannes on Thursday, said he wanted the leaders to find solutions to the European debt crisis - but that they shouldn't let current concerns eclipse longer-term aid for development.\u003cbr/\u003e\"They do need to keep in mind that the one percent or so of government budgets that go to helping the poorest ... should be maintained, and even grown,\" he told the Associated Press.\u003cbr/\u003eGates acknowledged that countries were unlikely to agree on a blanket worldwide tax on
