Now the Russian ultra-nationalist politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky is trying his hand at  making...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eRussian/Nat\u003cbr/\u003eFrom politics to film production.\u003cbr/\u003eFormer American President Ronald Reagan was a B-grade movie actor before he turned  to politics. \u003cbr/\u003eNow the Russian ultra-nationalist politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky is trying his hand at  making movies.\u003cbr/\u003eThe maverick leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) spoke to the  press Saturday on set of a television movie in which he stars as a Russian policeman  investigating various diabolical crimes.\u003cbr/\u003eIt's lights, camera and action for leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia  Vladimir Zhirinovsky.\u003cbr/\u003eHe's the latest politician to turn his hand to acting.\u003cbr/\u003eThe movie is called \"The Ship of Doubles\" and features an unlikely cast of past and  present figures. \u003cbr/\u003eZhirinovsky will play alongside actors portraying Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Margaret Thatcher,  Madonna, Michael Jackson and Russian pop-star Alla Pugacheva.\u003cbr/\u003eAccording to the director and producer, Valery Komissarov, the plot involves \"fights,  murders and other cataclysms\". \u003cbr/\u003eSo Vladimir Zharov, played by Zhirinovsky, is brought in as an inspector to solve these  murderous crimes.\u003cbr/\u003eZhirinovsky appeared to relish the idea of shooting the doubles of Adolf Hitler and Soviet  K-G-B leader Lavrenti Beria.\u003cbr/\u003eMany would say Zhirinovsky's political life is one big performance and he won't have to  change his style much in front of the movie cameras. \u003cbr/\u003eHis director Komissarov says he's a natural.\u003cbr/\u003eZhirinovsky claims he always wanted to be a policeman and also wanted to be an actor  but he never made it into the right institutes to pursue those paths. \u003cbr/\u003eSo now's his big chance but he isn't planning to give up politics yet.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I hate all these people here. They rouse my hatred. It's an inspiration to be with them.
