Over the course of his career became very friendly with Charlie Chaplin, Orson Welles and Walt Disney and in this sale we have some very lovely key Charlie Chaplin pieces, including two moustaches. But we also have something very special which is far to huge to get in our room today, but it's the moon buggy from 'Diamond's Are Forever' which is great. As a result of that and all the publicity we got from that we got another one in this year's sale which is even better because we've managed to pinpoint it to having been used in two of the films, 'Star Wars' and 'Empire Strikes Back.' They're fun, and because over his career he's had a lot of costumes we don't know how much more may be sold. As movie memorabilia goes the two items could hardly be more diverse, yet both went under the hammer at Christie's auction house in London earlier today (14DEC04).\u003cbr/\u003eThe sale comprises all sorts of items, from cartoon storyboards and celluloids, to signed photographs of Hollywood legends, to James Bond memorabilia.
