The footage shows the singer walking off the front edge of the stage. \u003cbr/\u003e\"It was nobody's fault other than this guy just took one little step,\" Bryan said after rehearsing on Tuesday ahead of the 2014 CMT Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. \u003cbr/\u003e\"It was our first amphitheater show. The amphitheater stage is a little different than our arena stage. At the end of the day, that's what got me. I was fortunate that when I fell, I kinda put my hand out and some fans got me and then I flipped and landed on my back. Obviously I got a few stitches, but as far as breaking something, I was so fortunate that nothing was broken. I could continue that show and continue the shows that followed.\"\u003cbr/\u003eHe said there are risks inherent in performing on stage nightly. \u003cbr/\u003e\"You know, it's a job hazard,\" Bryan said. \u003cbr/\u003e\"It's like anything. You ride a horse, it's gonna chunk you. You go do 100, 130 shows a year. Different stages, different nuances. We all gather around and say a little prayer before we go on stage that we stay safe. What's always scary is about how much stuff is hanging above your head. There's a lot of little things that can happen.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBut he's not the only country star to have taken a tumble on stage. \"American Idol\" champion Carrie Underwood ended up on crutches last year after falling backwards when her heel got caught.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I started stepping backward and I had on high heel boots and I fell and just busted my butt,\" Underwood said on Wednesday at the CMT Music Awards. \u003cbr/\u003e\"And it was two songs in. So for the rest of the show, I kept telling my bass player, 'I need a drink.' Because I was hurting really bad and I wanted to finish the show. But I had to go to the emergency room afterwards. Had to get one of the boot things to wear around for a while and I was on crutches. It happens.\"\u003cbr/\u003eTyler Hubbard, of the duo Florida Georgia Line, has also been injured whilst on stage with Luke Bryan, but he admits it was his pride that was wounded the most. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I had a little fall when I was on stage with Luke last year,\" Hubbard said. \u003cbr/\u003e\"And kinda cut my hands up. But nothing too bad. It's more of an ego hurt than anything else and I am sure that's how it was for Luke too. You never know.  You gotta be careful on stage. You get kinda in the moment and kinda forget where the edge of the stage is sometime.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe trio Lady Antebellum say that in-between songs when the stage lights go down, it can get become very difficult to see.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I fell once,\" said guitar player Dave Haywood. \"Playing guitar, I didn't have any hands to stop me, so I fell in between two speakers one time. I know. It's hard. Especially when the lights go down. I saw his video too and when the lights go down, it's dark in those arenas to see where you are going. I am glad he's doing alright.\"\u003cbr/\u003eCharles Kelley, co-singer in the band, said they tried to take some precautionary measures during their last tour. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Actually on our stage, I remember last year, when we were going through rehearsals that was the first thing I thought of was, 'I don't want anyone to fall, especially not Hillary,'\" Kelley said. \u003cbr/\u003e\"So we actually had little light-up things every couple of feet so you could tell. Because after a song it goes pitch black dark and it's like every man for himself trying to get back.
