Bush has an uphill battle gaining the support of the African-American community.\u003cbr/\u003eOnly one in nine black voters chose Bush in November's election, and polls show many believe blacks will lose under his administration.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Monday, Bush sought to reach out to the African-American community and promote his education program by recognizing the accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"Dr. King was a strong and clear voice, a strong and clear voice, for freedom.
