(May 11)\u003cbr/\u003e [Notes:ANCHOR VOICE]  \u003cbr/\u003e     Pageant officials are strongly criticizing some of the actions of Miss California USA.\u003cbr/\u003e     But state pageant officials said only Donald Trump can decide whether Carrie Prejean (pray-ZHAN') should be stripped of her crown.\u003cbr/\u003e     That could happen Tuesday.\u003cbr/\u003e     In the meantime, the state pageant's runner-up has been appointed to fulfill any duties Prejean would normally handle.\u003cbr/\u003eSot: this bold step of appointing an alternate for our needs and responsibilities in california, we ensure regardless of what happens tomorrow at mister trumps presser we're still going to be able to fullfill our vision and responsibilities\u003cbr/\u003ekeith lewis/state pageant co-director\u003cbr/\u003e     Prejean created controversy during the Miss USA pageant when she said she believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman.\u003cbr/\u003e     Pageant officials said they've never criticized the 21-year-old for her beliefs.\u003cbr/\u003e     Instead, they said the issue is whether she violated her contract by making appearances with groups opposed to same-sex marriage.\u003cbr/\u003e     She also failed to reveal photos of her posing in her underwear to organizers before she entered the pageant.     \u003cbr/\u003esot: the biggest problem we're having right now is she's telling us she can't make appearances but then she's in va, texas, appearances at her church.
