Petrolďż˝feros Fiscales (YPF) energy company while speaking at the closing ceremony of the Young Global Leaders'' Summit in Nayarit, Mexico. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I hope Argentina rectifies this measure,\" Calderon said, adding that \"this is a very irresponsible decision and irrational too, and it clearly violates investment accords and treaties.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBoth Repsol and Spain strongly oppose the move and have warned that it could turn Argentina into an international pariah.\u003cbr/\u003eYPF is vital for Argentina''s energy future, especially after its recent find of huge unconventional of YPF, and that Argentina had a deficit of three (b) billion US dollars last year partly due to energy imports.\u003cbr/\u003eIn Madrid, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo called the move arbitrary, and said it broke the climate of cordiality and friendship that had existed with Argentina. \u003cbr/\u003eHe said Spain would respond with \"forceful measures\" he did not describe.\u003cbr/\u003eMexico''s Secretary of the Economy Bruno Ferrari said that Spain had requested Mexico intervene in the row with Argentina over Repsol-YPF SA. \u003cbr/\u003eBut Ferrari said Mexico''s role in the dispute is still to be determined.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Monday, Calderon said that the kind of sustainable growth required by Latin American countries required openness.
