The network has nearly fourteen million listeners a week and now includes a tv station, \"TV One.\"  \u003cbr/\u003eAs part of the evenings entertainment, Natalie Cole mesmerised the celebrity-laden crowd with her cover of Aretha Franklin's \"Day Dreaming.\" Cole was delighted to perform the track with heroine in the audience:\u003cbr/\u003e\"I didn't know until a few days ago that Miss Aretha Franklin would be in the audience, but this is my first signal, it's a cover of her song called day dreaming.\"  \u003cbr/\u003eMany of the entertainers on hand received recognition for their contributions to the music industry over Radio One's 25 years of operation.   \u003cbr/\u003eDespite all the A-list presenters and performers, it was Beyonce' and her three song closing set which kept everyone in their seat until close to midnight.  \u003cbr/\u003eAfter a delay of nearly 45 minutes, Beyonce' took the stage and ushered in the beginning of the next 25 years for Radio
